Find Work For Needy

Mere Khwaja Foundation hopes to help those in poverty escape the grips of poverty by finding a sustainable source of income. This is very important as a sustainable job source can not only help those in poverty escape it but it also helps to maintain the dignity of the individual as they no longer need to rely on a handout in order to feed themselves and their families.

Furthermore, a skilled individual in employment can further help their kin by sharing those skills and helping others climb out of the depths of poverty through employment. Thus meaning we are able to have a positive chain effect on the lives of many through this initiative.

Marriage Assistance

 

Marriage is a fundamental rite both in society and in religion. The Holy Prophet (S.A.W.) has stated that "Marriage is my tradition and whosoever keeps away from it is not from amongst us". Marriage helps to establish families and is considered both a moral and cultural building block in South Asian society.

​

When one of our children get married, we ensure that no stone is left unturned and each ceremony is conducted with great pomp and celebration. However there are many young girls from families in abject poverty, who are at the age of marriage, however their families are unable to afford even the simplest of marriage ceremonies due to the financial burdens upon them and the lack of resources.

Through your donations, we can help these families fulfil the basic rites of marriage for their daughters and help them establish a new family with great opportunities for their offspring. 

It is important for us to focus on whatever we can do for others. Charity and service of humanity is our way of paying back for the bounties we have been blessed with. Giving and helping others who are in need is both rewarding in this life and the next.

Education

Mere Khwaja Foundation believes that education is the best route for individuals to escape the harsh grips of poverty. However, education in the third world is costly and unattainable for many below the lines of poverty.

​

One of our key projects is to provide free education for those below the lines of poverty in order to up-skill them and allow them to progress in life and be in a position to earn a living for themselves and their families.

​

Our focus is on providing individuals with education in 3 key aspects: Vocational Skills, Islamic Education and Necessary Literacy Skills. In order to pave the foundations for these young children to grow independent and not be reliant on others when they grow up.

​

Education is the most effective way for the poor to break out of the poverty cycle. An education of the Qur’an is vital to the faith of every Muslim. Yet in the developing world, thousands of underprivileged children and orphans are deprived of any form of education. What’s more, many of them are forced to start working at a very young age, in order to  earn their keep or help provide for their family.

Food

​

Hz. Khwaja Garib Nawaaz (R.A), the Progency of the Holy Prophet (S.A.W.) and a prominent Sufi Saint of Asia strongly followed this Hadith of The Holy Messenger (S.A.W.) and would feed the poor and needy regularly. He also taught his followers to make it their priority to feed the less fortunate, regardless of their beliefs. To this day, the followers of Khwaja Garib Nawaaz (R.A) continue to enact his teachings.

We at Mere Khwaja Foundation strongly believe in continuing this beautiful tradition of Khwaja Garib Nawaaz (R.A) and aim to feed as many people from deprived communities as we can - regardless of faith and belief.

Our aim is to purchase a industrial Roti (Flatbread) machine that will mass produce Roti breads to be distributed to the needy daily. In order to provide those who need it the most, we will have a system in place that will create ID cards for the needy such as widows, those who are orphans, homeless, aging people with no source of income and others who are below the line of poverty and/or are disabled and require free Rotis. These people will be able to come daily and pick up a parcel of Rotis using their IDs.
